Meet the Maker
Or as my family and friends are now calling me – Mrs Baker the candlestick maker
I’m Jennifer, I am 28 years old, I am a crazy cat, dog and chicken lady, a Hincher, a theatre lover and I live in the Yorkshire Dales. Lockdown was a bit of a tough time for me, so I tried to keep myself entertained by learning new skills and gaining knowledge.
I have always loved candles, wax melts & Reed diffusers etc in my home and spent a lot of time looking at different and unique candles and coming up with my own ideas and putting my own stamp on things. After a lot of encouragement from my husband I finally went for it a s set up Happily Ever After on Etsy, followed a few months later by booking into some local craft fairs.
My favourite product is my Disney inspired dress candles – which are the fiddliest to make. I love coming up with new ideas and seeing them come to life, t gives me more joy again when other people love the products I create.
I only use products that are animal friendly, which is very important to me, I also try to use the most environmentally friendly products that are available to me too.
