Greer started her resin journey in 2024 as her children began to leave the nest. What started as a hobby soon became a beautiful exchange of colour and technique resulting in pieces that truly captivate.
Greer uses moulds to create some of her pieces but prefers the challenge of her freehand work to reflect her style in her bowls, vases and jewellery.
Greer works in her “Resin Room” in her home in the village of Holme Cumbria, with inspiring views of the countryside all around her. Although having grown up in South Africa it’s easy to see the colourful African influence in her work. In her “proper job” Greer works for a local charity where she uses her Sign Language skills to support the Deaf community.
When she is not at work or in her Resin Room she can be found reading, walking or pondering a jigsaw puzzle – usually with her loyal companion Amazon parrot on her shoulder.
