After retiring from a lifetime in the NHS, and then moving from West to North Yorkshire I rediscovered my love of making things by hand. When lockdowns started in 2020 I had the time and the opportunity to discover polymer clay and then, later, precious metal clays, as media for making reasonably priced and unique pieces of jewellery.
Many of my designs are influenced by the beautiful countryside around me, as well as the wider natural world. I also love creating textured and decorated pieces and experimenting with new techniques and colour combinations.
