I have been making cross-stitch pictures for the
last 32 yrs but have only been selling them for
the past 5 yrs. I then started to produce sewn
goods and gifts such as cushions & bags, book
covers etc. which I really enjoy making and I am
constantly looking for new ideas. 2 years ago
I started making children’s clothing which proved
popular and due to demand I am now making
babies clothing . I try to upcycle or re-purpose
when making my goods by using donated fabrics
or buying curtains and duvets from charity shops
to make my covers and clothing (all pre washed
of course). I download most of my cross-stitch
patterns but have done commissions in the past
for births & weddings etc. I will make anything
that has a pattern basically.I try to stay as plastic
free as possible and reuse things where I can.
