Catherine has recently moved from Aberdeenshire, Scotland to Skipton, North Yorkshire.
Catherine is mainly inspired by the textural possibilities of clay and is happy working with a limited colour palette or in monochrome. She often decorates using objects and colours from nature. She enjoys making pieces for decorating the garden or home that combine whimsy with functionality. Using high-fired stoneware clay means that fired items can be safely used in the garden and home.
