KHQUILTS are two retired sisters, Karen and Heather and we always loved crafts but have found our passion in quilting. Quilting is our working hobby and every item is made by one of us. We love creating new designs as well as reproducing designs of old.
We love the challenge of larger king size quilts and throws, all quilted on a standard home machine and hand tied to finish. We also make a full range of table linen, runners, toppers, placemats, napkins etc., in various designs and colours. We also make unusual gift items and cushion covers.
We have found that many people love to sew or try quilting, or are experienced sewers/quilters who are looking for a new project. We have designed and produced our own kits to encourage this. We also use our kits at workshops where people can make the items under supervision.
We are happy to take orders for bespoke items (some of our items have been specially ordered/made for people as far away as New Zealand). Ask us about workshops.
