Having always had an interest in working with materials, I completed two City and guilds courses in Fashion and Advanced fashion which incorporated an art foundation element. I worked for around thirty five years in our family textile business manufacturing pile fabrics. When I came to a career crossroards, I decided to start my own craft business to expand and merge my creativity.
I create using fabrics, paper, wood and other materials. I want to create lovely practical products, being inspired by the materials themselves. I also have an ethos of upcycling materials where appropriate to give them a new lease of life. I handcraft in small batches but also craft unique items. I strive to give a warm, approachable and personal service to all customers.
